Taiwan Documentary Film Festival - November 24-25

The 13th edition of the Taiwan Documentary Film Festival will take place November 24 and 25, 2018. This year we are cooperating with local cinema Kino Arsenal to screen documentaries by acclaimed taiwanese director Tseng Wen-Chen 曾文珍 (on Saturday) as well as Wan Jen's famous Super Citizen Ko (on Sunday).

Tseng Wen-Chen is a director of both documentaries and movies and workks for television as well as the cinema. She has been awarded many prices for her work, most notably the Golden Horse Award, Taiwan's most prestigious film award, of 2002 in the category of documentary film for "Spring - The Story of Hsu Chin-Yu", which has been screened at national and international festivals and is also part of this year's programme (see below). 

The festival takes place at Kino Arsenal, Hintere Grabenstraße 20, 72070 Tübingen and starts on Saturday, November 24, 10:00 a.m.. 


Tickets can be purchased directly at the venue and are € 4.- / for students € 2.-. All films are shown with english subtitles!
