Prof. Robert Ash will hold this semester's first two public lectures

On Thursday, December 9th 2010, 10 to 12 a.m. and Friday, December 10th, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prof. Robert Ash, Director of the Centre of Taiwan Studies at SOAS, will hold this semester´s first two public lectures. The first lecture is entiteled "The Role of Agriculture in Taiwan's Post-1949 Economic Transformation" and will take place at the Department of Chinese and Korean Studies room 42. The following day (Friday, December 10, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) Prof. Dr. Robert Ash will hold a lecture on "Cross-Strait Economic Relations: Trade and FDI" at the Department of Chinese and Korean Studies room 30.
